We have designed a rectangular microstrip patch antenna for C-band application at 7 GHz frequency for 50 Ω impedance and then observe the output results from return loss plot and VSWR plot and note down the readings of simulated bandwidth and efficiency using CST microwave studio software. After that I will use a dielectric resonator because it has the advantages of low radiation loss that will help me for improvement of efficiency and bandwidth. A dielectric resonator will be loaded over the patch at the same feed location of rectangular microstrip patch antenna and then take the readings and compare it with the rectangular microstrip patch antenna’s readings. After that I will change the shapes of dielectric resonator and take the readings and compare it with other results....
